Further Information
97th Floor uses BambooHR to process our payroll. You can log into our company portal here (https://97thfloor.bamboohr.com/). It is your responsibility to update your address and contact information, tax withholdings, and direct deposit information.
Pay stubs can be found on the 'Pay Info' tab in BambooHR.
Benefit enrollments and their cost per paycheck are listed on the 'Benefits' tab.
Your W2 will be in BambooHR before 1/31/2025.
The amount withheld from your paycheck for Federal and State taxes is based on the information entered in the taxes tab of BambooHR, which follows the Federal W4 form and rates.
For help with a W4 and determining your dependents and deductions amounts, see this article.
To change your tax elections in BambooHR click on the 'Pay Info' tab, scroll down to the bottom and select 'Taxes'.
As a general guideline, the more you enter in dependent amounts and deductions the lower the percentage of taxes withheld will be. This doesn't have any effect on actual taxes owed, those are determined when you file your taxes. If you typically get large refunds and you want that money now you could enter more deductions and have less withheld each check. Or if you have owed taxes in the past you can enter an additional dollar or percentage to be withheld each paycheck.
Our medical, dental, and vision coverage is through United Healthcare. To see what you are enrolled in, your insurance cards, amounts applied toward your deductible and enroll in rebate programs with United you will want to register here (https://member.uhc.com/myuhc).
This document has instructions for enrolling.
For any questions about your coverage or issues with United, reach out to our broker Lacey at Lacey.Moysh@gbsbenefits.com.
Employee Navigator is used to manage and communicate benefit changes with our broker and United Healthcare. Outside of open enrollment and life events, you don't need to interact with Employee Navigator. You can log in to Employee Navigator at https://www.employeenavigator.com/.
Open enrollment happens once each year and it is the only time outside of major life events (having a baby, marriage, divorce, loss of coverage, etc.) that you can update your insurance elections.
Open enrollment for the following year will be in November in Employee Navigator. Details about open enrollment will be posted on the HR channel in Slack and announced at the company meeting.
Outside of open enrollment you can only change your insurance coverage if you have a qualified life event. The most common are:
Marriage or divorce
Birth of a child or an adoption
Change in spouse's coverage
If you have had one of these events, you will log in to Employee Navigator and then select 'Life Event'. Once you have chosen the correct type of life event you will be able to update or change your insurance coverage. If you have any questions about what qualifies as a life event or how to make the change you can reach out to HR or our broker, Lacey Moysh - Lacey.Moysh@gbsbenefits.com.
WHAT IS AN HSA?
HSAs or Health Savings Accounts are pre-tax dollars that you set aside to pay for qualified medical expenses. The money grows tax free and is disbursed tax free as long as you are spending it on qualified expenses. Think of it as a bank account, once the money is in there it's yours until you spend it, even if that isn't for years. If you leave 97th Floor you will still have any funds contributed to your HSA and you can transfer it to another HSA provider.
RULES
To participate in an HSA you must be enrolled in one of our high deductible health insurance plans. If your parents still claim you as a dependent you will need to check with them before contributing to an HSA since there is a limit each household can contribute.
LIMITS
2025 Individual - $4,300
2025 Family - $8,550
WHAT IS AN FSA?
FSAs or Flexible Savings Accounts are similar to HSAs but the money can be used for a wider range of qualified expenses. However, any money not used by the end of the year is lost. 97th Floor offers limited purpose FSAs and dependent care FSAs.
LIMITED PURPOSE FSA
Limited purpose FSAs can only be used for dental and vision care expenses, like braces, glasses, contacts, fillings, or laser eye surgery. To be eligible for a limited purpose FSA you must be enrolled in a high deductible plan and an HSA. The contribution limit for 2025 is $3,300. Of that $3,300, you can roll $660 into 2026.
DEPENDENT CARE FSA
Dependent care FSAs can be used to pay for qualified child care expenses incurred to allow you to work, like preschool, after school programs, summer camps, etc. The contribution limit for 2025 is $5,000.
97th Floor's FSA provider is Ameriflex.
You can log in to your Ameriflex account here (https://participant.myameriflex.com/).
Ameriflex should contact you after you have elected to enroll in an FSA with your account information. If you need help accessing that, reach out to Kristi.
FSA contributions are elected during open enrollment. Once enrolled, you can't change your contribution.
FSA funds must be used in the year they are contributed - they do not rollover from year to year.
Fidelity is our provider for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). You can register or log in to your Fidelity account at 401k.com.
To participate in 97th Floor's HSAs the employee must be enrolled in one of our high deductible health plans. All employees who elect to open an HSA will receive $150/month contribution to the HSA from 97th Floor.
Employees can change their HSA contributions at any time by sending Kristi an email or Slack message requesting the change.
Contribution limits for HSAs in 2025 are:
Individual - $4,300
Family - $8,550
97th Floor uses Fidelity as their 401(k) administrator. You can register with Fidelity at 401k.com.
You are responsible for changing you contribution amount with Fidelity. 97th Floor can not update that for you. Please allow 5-7 days for Fidelity to update the contribution percentage in BambooHR.
EMPLOYER MATCH
The company will match your contribution dollar-for-dollar up to 3% of your compensation, and 50 cents on the dollar of your contribution between 3-5% of your compensation.
WHAT ARE PRE-TAX 401(K) CONTRIBUTIONS?
Pre-tax 401(k) contributions are taken directly out of your paycheck before federal or state taxes are applied. Making pre-tax 401(k) contributions reduces your taxable income for that year. When you disburse your pre-tax 401(k) funds you'll be taxed on the money you originally contributed, plus any earnings that have accumulated over time, as ordinary income.
WHAT ARE ROTH 401(K) CONTRIBUTIONS?
Roth 401(k) contributions are included in your taxable income in the year they are made. When you disburse your Roth 401(k) funds, which include your contributions plus any earnings that have accumulated over time, the distribution will be tax-free so long as your distribution is qualified.
2025 CONTRIBUTION LIMIT
$23,500
ARE BONUSES AND COMMISSIONS INCLUDED IN INCOME FOR 401(K) CONTRIBUTIONS?
YES! Our plan guidelines include contributions on all income.
THINGS TO CONSIDER:
If you get a raise or bonus, you may want to adjust your contribution percentage so that you don’t over contribute to your 401(k). If you log into Fidelity, they can help you calculate the percentage you can contribute to max out your 401(k) without over-contributing.
If you don’t want a 401(k) contribution pulled out of a bonus, you have to adjust your contribution percentage on your Fidelity profile at least one week before the payroll date.
97th Floor can't adjust the contribution percentage for you.

Night skiing at Sundance begins on December 25th and is from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The same rules above apply, however, if you are not planning on using the skiing passes for all day including night skiing, you must have the passes returned to Saami's by no later than 5:00 pm. So that others who would like to use the passes for night skiing are able to pick them up.
If there are days where no one has requested passes (day or night), then 3 days prior to that empty date those days will be open to anyone who would like to use them. It will be a first come, first serve basis and WILL NOT reset your next eligibility date.
You can see available dates here. Message Jake on the Sundance Pass channel to reserve passes.
New Sundance Pass Storage Location:

If there’s a mix-up or your name isn’t on the sign-up, Saami's will contact us for verification.
